Shift: 12-hour rotational continental shifts (2-week rotation: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

When your actions lead to success:

• Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all plant equipment, specifically printing presses and associated manufacturing machinery.

• Preventative Care: Execute routine lubrication, wear checks, and equipment modifications to prevent downtime.

• Fabrication: Perform welding, fabricating, and assembly of parts as required.

• Operational Support: Support 5S workplace organization standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

• Collaboration: Maintain open dialogue with production managers and supervisors; work alongside contractors and liaise with purchasing for spare parts inventory management.

• Safety Leadership: Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, attend safety meetings, and ensure all engineering controls and PPE are utilized correctly.

When your expertise drives us:

• Certification: Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or Machinist.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment at a Journeyman level.

• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. HVAC experience is a plus.

• Safety & Compliance: Valid WHMIS, Fall Protection, and Confined Space certifications.

• Equipment Operation: Valid operator’s certificate for Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Genie Boom.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
