We are looking for two Die Cutters for days and nights for our Paris location. 

 

This position is a new position, to support organizational growth.

The salary range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Set up, run, and troubleshoot die cutting equipment safely while meeting production targets.
  • Make sure each job is prepared correctly with all required materials and paperwork.
  • Work closely with team members and helpers to maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed to support production operations.
  • Help train and support less experienced employees and temporary staff.
  • Follow all quality standards, SOPs, and company procedures.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, security, and company policies.
  • Work in compliance with Ontario health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by reporting injuries, accidents, and hazards promptly.

Qualifications

  • Experience setting up and operating die cutting equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and meet production targets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow job instructions and paperwork
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience performing equipment maintenance
  • Ability to train and support junior or temporary staff
  • Commitment to quality standards, SOPs, and workplace procedures
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting
