We are looking for a motivated and dependable Material Handler to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This role plays a key part in supporting production flow, inventory control, and shipping operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

 

This position is currently open and reflects a replacement position due to an internal transfer, promotion, or departure.

 

The salary range for this position is $21-$23 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming raw materials and finished goods
  • Safely operate counterbalance and reach forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
  • Load and unload delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Pick orders and stage materials for production and shipping
  • Prepare materials and finished products for shipment, including banding, strapping, labeling, and packaging
  • Supply production, packing, and warehouse teams with required materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with receiving and inventory control activities
  • Use power tools and equipment such as chop saws, pneumatic nail guns, and measuring devices as required
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized workspace
  • Work independently while also supporting team members across the operation

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience
  • Experience operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks
  • Familiarity with order picking, staging, receiving, and inventory processes
  • Experience banding, strapping, labeling, and preparing shipments
  • Ability to read pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training
  • Comfortable performing a mix of forklift operation and general warehouse duties
